What ages do you offer classes for?

We offer classes for dancers ages 18 months to 18 years, from first steps to advanced performance training.

Yes! We offer a full range of programs for both recreational dancers and competitive dancers. Each dancer receives high-quality instruction tailored to their goals and level of commitment.

Studio 4 offers instruction in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Pom, Acro, and High School Dance Team Training

Not at all! We welcome dancers of all levels, including beginners. Placement classes or evaluations may be recommended for certain age groups or programs.

The All-Star Program is our recreational track for dancers in 1st through 12th grade. These classes are designed for dancers who want excellent training with a lower time commitment. All-Star dancers perform in our annual Holiday Show and end-of-season recital. For those looking to experience competition without a full schedule, Pre-Comp classes offer a great introduction to the competitive world with a similar limited time commitment.

If your dancer is currently enrolled in our recreational program, we recommend speaking directly with their instructor about the potential next steps. For new students, please call our front desk to learn more about the program and how to get started. Our Summer Prep Camps and training sessions are also a great way to explore the competitive track and see if it’s the right fit. Our staff will guide you through the process and help determine the best fit based on age, experience, and interest.

Yes! Many of our All-Star dancers take multiple classes each week. Our schedule is thoughtfully designed to make it easy for dancers to explore different styles and build a well-rounded foundation across multiple disciplines, depending on their interest and availability.

All Studio 4 recreational dancers have the wonderful opportunity to perform in two special annual events.

  • Our Holiday Show, held each December, is a fun and festive way to celebrate the season while giving back to the community — admission is free, and we collect non-perishable food donations for our local food shelf.
  • In the spring, dancers take center stage in our professionally produced year-end recital, where each class performs in full costume to showcase their growth and hard work throughout the year.

Both performances are included in the Performance Charge, which covers costumes, accessories, a recital t-shirt, online music access, and a digital show link.

For those recreational dancers interested in exploring more performance opportunities, our Pre-Comp classes provide the opportunity to experience the excitement of competition.

From September through May, our front desk is staffed Monday through Thursday from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM, and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Outside of these hours, you’re welcome to email us anytime at info@studio4dancers.com or call 952-736-5472. We’re always happy to assist you!
