About Us

Co-directors Kari, Stacey, Heather, and Melissa Nelson invite you to join them for the upcoming 2019 – 2020 dance season. They are fully devoted and committed to providing the best dance training in the Southern suburbs. Studio 4 specializes in Competitive, Non-competitive/Recreational, Ballet, Dance Team and Tumbling training.

Studio 4 offers a variety of disciplines in a unique dance environment. Competitive dancers (intermediate and advanced) benefit from different teaching styles and energy through instruction and involvement by Studio 4 staff. Competitive lines are not only taught by one single instructor.

Recreational dancers (All-Star Program) benefit from the same training and environment as the competitive lines. This level of instruction will enable students to reach their fullest potential with a limited time commitment.

Studio 4 believes that Ballet is the foundation of all dance disciplines. For this reason, the Ballet Department is headed by professionals in the industry who share the same love and respect for students as the founders of Studio 4.

Studio 4 recognizes the existence and strength of Dance Team in the surrounding area. The staff is excited to offer a Dance Team/Performance program to build upon this talent.

The Nelson sisters bring with them a combined 50 years of competitive dance experience and over 35 years experience in teaching both competitive and non-competitive dance. The girls have produced numerous outstanding dancers and their choreography has been recognized both regionally and nationally. Kari, Stacey, Heather, and Melissa are excited to build relationships through sharing their passion and love for dance.

If you know of anyone between the ages of 18 months and 18 years old who would like to join the Studio 4 family, feel free to contact us for information on enrollment.
